LEARN what The Bible teaches!

LIVE what the Bible teaches!
We place a great emphasis on serving others. There are *always* opportunities to serve others and show the love of Jesus.
Pastor Rebecca feels a specific call to “serve the people who serve everyone else” in our community, so most of our current service opportunities have this focus. Click below to get info on upcoming serve opportunities!
Share Meals Together
We follow the model of the Early Church by meeting together regularly, sharing meals, communion, studying, worshipping, and praying together (Acts 2:42). Our current gatherings include a family style meal in a casual environment. Let us save you a seat at the table! RSVP to the next Dinner Church gathering, happening on Thursday nights at 6:00 pm @ Brad Paisley Park!
THE CHURCH LAUNCH TEAM IS FORMING
This mission can only be accomplished by a team of like-minded followers of Christ. If you would like to be an early part of the team that will lead and launch this church, send us a message. We'd love to meet you!

Currently, this group meets Sunday mornings at 10:30 am EST at the church for worship and teaching.

Rebecca Palmatier
Lead Pastor
Rebecca, Tucker, and their daughters felt drawn by God to set 'forever roots' in White Sulphur Springs, WV. "The mountains called me home," Rebecca often says. After serving in church ministry for over 20 years, Rebecca wanted to step out of the 'big city church' experience to live a more 'grass-roots gospel' modeled in scripture. The early church shared in meals, communion, worship, prayer, and study... There wasn't a lot of 'production' and 'flare', yet the early church LEFT A MARK on the world! They were uncomplicated and uncompromising!

Through this church fellowship, Pastor Rebecca hopes you and your family will become confident disciples of Jesus, experience spiritual transformation, develop a deeper relationship with God, and be a positive impact in White Sulphur Springs and the surrounding areas.

Rebecca and Tucker have been married since 2002. Their girls love nature and science, particularly exploring all the creatures that live on their property. Tucker has a strong career in technology for a fortune 500 company, and has also served his community through fire service and emergency medicine for over 20 years.
This church plant has a very long history within our community. The First Church of God WSS operated for decades in this community before closing its doors in 2018. While it’s had a rich history, we believe its best days are yet to come! The WSS Church Plant is under the leadership and support of the West Virginia Church of God Ministries, and is affiliated with the Church of God based in Anderson, Indiana.
